Majalah fotografi

Majalah dengan tema fotografi amat jarang di Indonesia . Dulu sih ada Snap dan .. hmm ada bbrp lain yg tidak tau namanya karena hanya sempat mengenal Snap . Pilihannya ya terpaksa beberapa majalah luar negeri . Gramedia biasanya suka jualan . Kali lima di pinggiran Cikapundung , Bandung juga menyediakan .
Menurut saya , so far , majalah-majalah ini membantu saya dalam proses pembelajaran . Sebagai penyeimbang , tidak hanya praktek jepret melulu tapi juga mengenal info teknis di belakang itu semua . Tidak teknis saja ding … pengetahuan ttg komposisi , lighting , dsb yang untuk membuat foto lebih menarik juga sering diulas . Plus , info harga-harga terbaru di halaman belakang . Yang lebih seru adanya galeri foto dari para profesional bahkan amatir yang menginspirasi kita . Yoi .. penting banget tuh belajar melihat galeri orang lain , harus sering-sering dibiasakan .
Ok ga panjang dan ga lebar .. berikut pilihan saya:

• Outdoor PhotographerMajalah khusus buat fotografer yang fokus ke nature , satwa dan landscape . TOP BGT . Tidak terlalu teknis , lebih banyak mengulas tentang keindahan alam lewat sebuah foto . Galeri fotonya benar-benar yahud cuman kebanyakan diambil di US sono . Jadi ya cuma bisa ngeces kalau mau bikin foto seperti itu . Tip trik dan tutorialnya ok banget .. tidak terlalu basic tapi mengena.
• National Geographic
  Ini mah bukan majalah yang mengkhususkan untuk fotografi tapi banyak galeri foto yang bercerita di situ . Itu salah satu keunggulan National Geographic . Selain artikel yang menggugah juga didukung oleh foto yang menarik , bercerita , sinergi dengan artikelnya . Saya jadi belajar bagaimana pentingnya membuat sebuah foto yang bercerita plus mgkn dengan sedikit tulisan sebagai deskripsi sebagaimana yang dilakukan majalah NG tersebut .
• Digital Photographer UK
  Majalah lebih membahas fotografi secara general . Teknis , review lensa , produk baru , tip dan trik , hal-hal standard deh . Tapi saya suka karena artikelnya yang lumayan menginspirasi , galerinya menarik dan uptodate.
• PhotoLife
  Wah ini baru beli kemarin . Setelah dibaca, ternyata isinya OK . Meski halamannya cukup tipis , tapi isinya berat . Membahas aspek-aspek fotografi tapi tidak terlalu basic juga . Galerinya OK banget .. lumayan memberikan inspirasi . Sepertinya juga didukung oleh fotografer kawakan seperti Andre Gallant (?) dan Freeman Patterson . Rasanya jadi seperti belajar foto dengan mereka langsung .
